Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy

Effective Date: October 20, 2026

This policy applies to “consumer health data” as defined by Washington’s My Health My Data Act (RCW 19.373). It adds to our Privacy Policy.

What consumer health data we collect

We treat everything you tell us while checking eligibility or applying as consumer health data, including: whether you have Medicare (and Part A/B), Medicaid, or other health coverage; disability; age and date of birth; household members; income, resources, and expenses (including medical expenses); documents you upload; and recordings and transcripts of calls with our AI phone line.

Where it comes from

From you (or someone helping you with your permission), by phone, text, or on our website.

Why we collect and use it

Only to do what you asked: check which programs you may qualify for, prepare your application, send it to the state when you sign it, and follow up about it. We also keep records the law requires. We do not use it for advertising.

Who we share it with

  • The state agency deciding your application (for example DSHS or the Washington Health Care Authority), only after you sign.
  • Service providers who process it for us under contract: hosting and database, secure file storage, AI voice, phone and text messaging, email delivery, and fax delivery.

We do not share consumer health data with advertising or analytics companies. We do not use third-party tracking on the pages where you screen, apply, or view your case.

We do not sell consumer health data

If we ever offer to connect you with someone else (for example a licensed insurance agent), we will ask on a separate screen that names them and exactly what they’d receive, and we will not share anything unless you sign that authorization. Saying no never affects your application.

Your rights

You can:

  • Confirm whether we collect, share, or sell your consumer health data, and see it along with the list of everyone we shared it with.
  • Withdraw your consent.
  • Have it deleted (including from our service providers).

To make a request, email compliance@healthquiver.com or call (888) 306-5764. We respond within 45 days (we may extend once by 45 days and will tell you why). If we deny a request you can appeal by replying to our answer; we’ll respond to an appeal within 45 days, and if you’re still unhappy you can contact the Washington State Attorney General at atg.wa.gov. We will not charge you or treat you differently for using these rights.
